Esther, Jo Anna’s Spanish grammar tutor, had eye surgery yesterday (Monday). Please pray that her recovery will go smoothly. After Esther recuperates from surgery, Jo Anna will have approximately one week of class to finish this phase of her studies. Esther believes that Jo Anna is ready to move to a new phase which includes translation technique and preparation for an internationally recognized diploma. Before she moves on though, Esther plans to give Jo Anna a comprehensive exam over the material covered since classes began last July. This will aid the next teacher. Jo Anna no doubt will miss her time with this energetic and excellent tutor. Should you wish to take a course from her, she teaches at the main London Institute in Montevideo.
We have already interviewed another tutor. Classes should resume once again in May with the new tutor. These classes should not be quite as taxing because they will take place at home. This will save approximately three hours of commute time per week. What a blessing!
