They say a picture is worth a thousand words, soo. . . I have decided to post a few pictures from the past week.  Please indulge me as many of them are of our family in Paysandu, Uruguay.  We have not seen them for the past four years.

I see how it is…you make the pictures of Daniel and yourself skinnier on purpose. Genius!

Thanks for posting pictures…make it a steady diet (pun intended).

Yes, I am starting another skinny man club in Uruguay. It is going to be challenging with all the steak, bakery goods, and fresh fruit I am enjoying. I love going door to door at the various panaderia’s.

I need to tell Jon Ball to get the lead out and to get down here already. He doesn’t know what he is missing. Besides, he would make a great addition to my skinny man club.

Thanks for calling me a genius! Feel free to flatter me anytime. I have had several adventures visiting stores, with people on Wednesday night, and with all our Spanish friends who are dropping in for visits.

My level of Spanish is slightly better than Feli’s at the moment, but she is catching up fast. She is already saying a few words, and has told us and other Uruguayans that she knows Spanish (in English of course:).

Praise the Lord . . . after so much work and waiting . . . your “journey begins!” You are in our prayers. So glad to hear of the safe trip and Felicia sleeping through the night on the plane!

Thank you for the pictures – I have always been a big fan of visual aids!

So sorry to hear of Aunt Shiela’s passing. Our sympathy to you all for the loss of this dear one.

We are praising the Lord for your safe arrival. After seeing the pictures and video, we were even more sad that we couldn’t make it to your commissioning service. You are in our thoughts and prayers and we are looking forward to the updates.

    Some ideas for future posts:

    1. Your daily steak consumption. When in UR do like the URans (for the sake of the Gospel, of course).

    2. Your language learning process. That topic is always interesting reading.

    3. Your plans for the next year.

We miss you, but are so happy God answered our prayers for an easy passage. It is so exciting and wonderful to see the pictures of you all there! We are praying for you and for Jo Anna’s mom and family in the passing of Aunt Sheila.
    Love you guys!
